Tyr's mom says: Tyr was born February 10, 2007 in the Netherlands. His father is our other older Icelandic. Tyr is a short-haired Tri-color Icelandic. The color combination that he has is a fairly rare color combo. His mother is from Norway and his grandmother (his father's mother is from Norway). He participates in dog shows and 'helping' me with my garden work. He also loves to torment his father Shiloh. He is a wonderful dog from a wonderful breed; I have no idea what we would do without him and his father.
So Cute he is. Look at that humble, honest eyes, kissessssssssssssssssssssssss. Tons of biscuits. You are so lucky to have him. Have a long happy life with your family, Tyr.

I picked this picture because it is so perfect and he looks so small and innocent.
he has beautiful almond eyes and in some of the other pictures, youcan really see the sheepdog in him....
he looks so happy and care-free
i have never actually experienced an Icelandic Sheepdog but my parents had one before i was born and my brothers say that they are so good natured and are really amazing and friendly dogs to have.
this type of breed is the type that lives up to "man's best friend"
and you can see that in his eyes
his going to be a dream companion to you all and i really hope for the best

Beautiful puppy! Another breed I will have to look up. Kind of looks like an Australian Shepard. I bet he likes to play chase the stick and probably swimming. It must be so neat to own the sire and know what personality he will inherit.
