Roxy's mom says: The moment we met Roxy we knew she was the puppy we were looking for. Bad things are said about her breed but she is the sweetest, happiest puppy I know. When people or animals are around, her tail never stops wagging. Roxy loves the kitty that she lives with. She loves to play in the snow and bark at things out the window. But the thing that makes her happiest is Pig's ears (treats).
Aww, Roxy is so beautiful! That silvery fur and blue eyes...what a wonderful baby. I find the stereotypes against pitbulls heartbreaking...I have been fortunate enough to only have good experiences with the breed.
Anyway, give her lots of kisses. She's just lovely.
there are no such things as bad breeds, only bad owners.
look at this cuty little face .......
roxy, you won my heart
Oh she's a beautiful girl! And i know that with all the love you give her, she will grow up to be wonderful dog, and definitely not the nasty ones we read about!
She's a beautiful color and she's adorable!
11 biscuits - Roxy you are just stunning. Roxy's mum, an animal is what you bring them up to be. We had an American pitbull and she was the biggest love bug and wouldn't even harm a fly. Enjoy her
What No Onesies!!!! No bother Roxy is a lovely little pup with beautiful markings. I agree it is how you raise her but you MUST respect the breed, take good advice and make sure she has lots to do and is well trained and of course gets lots of love and cuddles which from the sounds of it you have covered! Congratulations
She is lovely! She looks very serious--is it just an act? I like this pic where she is showing off her big puppy feet.
She's gorgeous!!! I love her "formal photo"; the blue fabric really sets off her fur and eye color, as well as her feminine little pink collar (which, of course, matches the inside of her ears -- so coordinated)!
As an inverterate "puppy harrasser," I obviously always first check with the owners as to whether a puppy (or grown-up pup) is friendly. The vast majority of pits of all ages have been friendly, and upon getting acquainted utter marshmallows. They almost seem to be extra affectionate, sadly, as though they're grateful when someone isn't afraid of them or prejudging them.
If I were there, I'd give Roxy loads of scritches and a couple of pig ears, and I strongly suspect I'd get lots of kisses in return. Viva Roxy!!!
I love Roxy's pink pads on her feet and those eyes!! My boys could eat pig ears all day!! They love them too but I have to give sparingly or they will be blimps! she is adorable.
-Bucky and Bailey's Mom
Roxy is seriously cute! And I totally agree with what everyone else on the forum has said - there are no bad breeds just bad owners - though I dont think that's Roxy's problem at all! :) Generic breed banning and vilification should be fought against!! Anyways - doggy politics aside ... I wish you many years of love and joy with your new baby. A big kiss for her sweet little nose and of course a gazillion biscuits.
Love all the pics. of your precious Roxy. Stereotypes are not a good thing, whether it's dogs or people. I'm sure you'll do a great job raising Roxy, and wish you all many blessings & happy times together.
roxy is beautiful. i love the breed. they are so gentle and sweet despite what ignorant people think. and bad owners.
i am glad she has such a happy home with you.
however pig ears are very unhealthy.
pizzles are a better choice, and the healthiest is to boil (for a good hour) a real bone from your butcher. this way is is hard, clean, and not dangerous to the dog, and clean for your home. dog will be busy for a long time, in my case for a few months now.
Roxy, you make me fall in love! What a beautiful baby girl you are! Tons of hugs, kisses, and biscuits. Best wishes for a happy, loving, and long life to you and your family.........Enjoy
She is gorgeous.
The bad rep this breed has....unwarranted. Bad owners make bad dogs. I always say they should make it illegal to breed people who do this to dogs.
There are people in my town who have pit bulls. They have these dogs well socialized and well trained. One gentleman has a white pit bull and he made sure that when he walked her as a puppy, he encouraged children and other pets to come play with her.
Never give a dog chicken bones.
They splinter and do horrible things to a pet's mouth and intestines.
Oh my gosh, she does have a Cross on her chest! She is TRULY BLESSED. She is a beautiful little girl - love that pink puppy tummy! Tummy rubs all around!
YES, THIS BREED IS BADLY MISUNDERSTOOD! I HAD A PIT BULL YEARS AGO AND HE WAS THE SWEETEST BOY! WHEN I WAS SITTING DOWN HE WOULD DRAPE HIMSELF AROUND MY SHOULDERS AND LICK MY FACE, EARS, AND NECK! ENJOY YOUR PRECIOUS BABY!!
What a little sweetie, I've always suspected Faith mas chow/pit bullx vx. lab/chox. Very lovie dovie dogs, treat her well and she'll do the same. Just keep in check burst of dominance that may come out in spurts. . . my Faith would always have to let everyone know she was in charge at our neighborhood dog park
She is the most gorgeous pit I've ever seen... she looks like such a sweet friend. Give her another pig's ear for me! Rocco, my little bully, says "hi!"
aw this dog is sooo cute don't
ever let him go hehe!
i have a chopcolate lab and hes a complete nutter
so i can imagen what hes like.
wel tell him i sed "hellthanks emmxx
What a gorgeous girl!! Beautiful color and markings! Enjoy your babygirl she sounds like lots of fun!
Kiss the top of her nose for me! XOXO
I love Roxy; she is beautiful. She has beautiful markings and love those blue eyes. I love my pit and would have another in a heart beat. They are very loving and loyal. Kudos to Roxy!!
Good Lord, could she be any cuter? I love this picture of her sitting like a puppy with her legs to the side! Beautiful girl. Enjoy her.....
What a precious baby girl you have there. She is so beautiful. Gorgeous eyes and markings! You are very lucky to have such a stunning little girl! Many years of love and happiness for Roxy and her family! xox
She is beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take good care of this baby and she will continue to be a happy, loving girl and take good care of you! Here's to many happy years together!
What a pretty little girl--my experience with this breed has been nothing short of wonderful--billions of biscuits and hugs!!!
PITBULLS ARE VERY VERY VERY VERY MISUNDERSTOOD. ANY DOG CAN BE MEAN IF YOU RAISE IT TO BE. I HAD ONE AND HE WAS THE LIGHT OF MY LIFE. THE LANDLORD MADE ME GET RID OF HIM BECAUSE OF THE INSURANCE CO. WHAT DOES A BREED HAVE TO DO WITH INSURANCE???? IT IS DISCRIMINATION AGAINST THIS BREED. ANYONE HAVE A PETITION I CAN SIGN AGAINST THIS? I WOULD WHOLE HEARTEDLY. I MISS MY BABY?
I CAN SEE YOURS IS A COMPLETE SWEETIE TOO. LOVE HIM AND HE WILL LOVE YOU BACK THREEFOLD.
She's great!!! We have a "Dutchess" at our house and she is the friendliest dog ever. Just remember to teach her to release when she has something in her mouth.

I once misunderstood Pits too but no more. They are loving and wonderful dogs. It is how you raise them, just like a child. You love them, treat them right, show them how to behave and they give you joy and make you proud. She is beautiful!!! A lifetime of biscuits for Roxy.
Yeah, a happy pit bull story! I've only had the pleasure of being up close and personal with one pit bull and she was the sweetest, most lovable little girl. Unfortunately because this breed is banned in my city the young lady who had this baby moved where pits are allowed. Roxy is gorgeous and I wish you many happy years with this little beauty. Hugs, kisses and 11 biscuits from Kansas USA.
You look sooooo much like the Roxy who comes to visit next door!! She has white feet but other than that, you could be twins! What a beauty, and make sure you're a good ambassador for your breed, sweetheart! How can you not love a face like that? I agree the breed is totally misunderstood -- four of my dog's 'cousins' are pit or part pit, and you couldn't ask for sweeter more loving dogs (not to mention bed hogs and couch potatoes!) These guys came from abusive backgrounds, and it didn't make them mean.
Off my soapbox -- many happy years with that gorgeous girl! PS you need to get her a friend named Velma, or maybe a boyfriend named Billy Flynn .... just sayin' ... lol
So... you're letting her keep the tail, I take it. Good! Unless there's a bone structure problem, a dog's tail is 50% of its ability to communicate with us dumb humans.
She is absolutely adorable. Her color and eyes are stunning! I agree with what everyone else says...pitbulls, rottweilers, doberman pinschers, are misunderstood. It always has to do with how they were raised. My only advice to you, is be careful with the pig ears! I have heard of a lot of cases where the dogs need surgery because the pig ears get stuck!
Roxy is beautiful!!! Her eyes are incredible. She looks so inconocent and sweet. I wish you both a life full of kisses and puppy love.
The first picture hadn't even loaded yet and I knew I was going to comment. I was so excited to see a pit bull on here! I absolutely adore them. It's hard not to when I work with so many on a regular basis (I work in a humane society). People are so ill-informed about them, it's ridiculous. I hope you have many wonderful years of being a good breed ambassador!
What a cutie! I really love her. You are soooo lucky to have such an adorable little angel. Treasure and love her always. She is beautiful.
I love Roxie's coloring! It's almost like a Weim's coloring, only darker. I too have always liked the pit bulls that I have known. They are a very misunderstood breed. She looks adorable and I know that you will enjoy many happy years with her. I also love this puppy sit. I think it's so cute when little pups do this! :)
Oh Roxy you are soooo beautiful!!! I love your color and eyes!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Being this cute should be illegal! :) It is sad that pitbulls get a bad rap. I have one and she's the most loving and sweet dog ever! People don't understand that the problem is not the dog, but the owner. If you raise a pitbull with love, then he/she will be as loving as any other breed. Roxy you are soooo lucky you found a great home. I'm so happy for you!!!
Many kisses, hugs and biscuits (pig's ears) haha to you!
Happy New Year and best wishes always!!! :)
Love those eyes - what a gorgeous dog! I agree no bad breeds just bad owners. This pup is lucky to have found you - much happiness to you all!
It's so nice to see a dog of this breed being raised properly, as a pet. One of my neighbours has a pit/Lab mix, and he is truly one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met, and my beagle loves him too.
Roxy is one beautiful & elegant girl. She will grow to be a stunning adult. More importantly she looks to be a total love and sweetie. Live long and happy Ms. Roxy!
Roxy is precious!!! I am not normally drawn to the breed, but who can deny that Roxy is very cute!!! I am so happy for her because she is blessed with a human who loves her!!! :)
This is a wonderful photo - with the pink collar and heart - Roxy is sleek and gorgeous. So glad she is so loved. Good luck to you and your sweet girl.
It's sad pits get such a bad rap! Every one I've met, and there are a lot in my neighborhood, are the sweetest dogs! Roxy is a star!
Wow I was so happy to see a pit on the front of the daily puppy! I actually registered just to leave a comment! She is beautiful! I also have an American Pit. She was actually suppose to be the color of your Roxy but as she got older her coat got darker but she looks very similar to your girl! I feel like a bad mother becuse I have yet to submit her pictures. However when I do I hope that you will enjoy them as much as I have enjoyed yours and I wish we could have a play date because My Sasha loves other dogs and animals as well!
I had such a hard time picking a favorite photo, but this one won out because Roxy has such a sweet, cute face! She is a beautiful color, too--gorgeous fur!
Roxy-You are a beautiful baby. Beautiful shining coat and eyes to match your stunning personality. I love photo #5 because your white chest mark looks just like a paperdoll to me. XOXOXOX
11+++++++++++ biscuits for Foxy Roxy!!! There are a lot of breeds out there that are misunderstood & because of this homeowners insurance is affected because their thought is assume the dog will bite & someone will sue. But anyone can see from their cute little faces how sweet they really are. Just like kids, if you raise them right they will be good little "girls" & "boys". Enjoy all your years with Roxy & give her lots of kisses on her cute little nose.

I'm so excited to see a Pit on this site. I found a stray young female about 4 months ago and we love her like crazy. She's one of the sweetest dogs we've ever had. Roxie is just adorable! Her color and markings are beautiful. Thanks for choosing her and giving her such a loving home. Please continue to be an advocate for this totally misunderstood breed. Oh yes...for sure 11 Biscuits!!
I agree with the other posters. Sadly the pitbull as a breed has been corrupted by evil people using them in the despicable practice of dog fighting and by the totally ignorant buying them as a macho status symbol. I have only ever met one pitbull many years ago in the U.K. (before they were banned there) and he was a real charmer. He belonged to a gamekeeper and spent all day outdoors - well trained and well exercised - and was a very happy chappie.
Roxy is a beauty - lovely colouring. I couldn't resist this photo of her "sloppy sitting". So cute. May you have many happy years together. Very Best wishes from Spain.
It would appear that American Pitbull Terriers aren't so misunderstood, at least here! If only all dogs could be treated with the love we Daily Puppy people feel for our canine friends.
Roxy is gorgeous! This picture should be rendered in oil paints.
I'm so excited to see a Pit Bull on here! These are the best dogs ever and yours is truly beautiful. Her coloring is wonderful. I have had pits all my life and they are so misunderstood! Just a little piece of advice, always give her something to chew on. I have a 6 yr old male pit and he will chew on the fence, on the side of the house, on the couch,on anything if he doesn't have a bone! Enjoy many happy years with Roxy!
"There are no bad breeds, only bad owners"
And let's not forget, bad breeders. Sadly, some people do breed for aggression and encourage it from birth, creating puppies that have anger management issues before they even leave their mothers. :(
I love the look on her face here! She looks like she is entreating you to come play. I love the blue color. Keep her safe and well loved - she deserves it!
I love how you picked out your bed sheets to match Roxy's eyes!!!!!
She is beautiful and looks like the perfect little lady. By the way, I love the breed!!!!!!
Roxy looks like a sweet little lady.
I have to agree - it's not the breed, but how they're raised - 99% of the time. I only ever met one pitbull in person and he was a gentle old boy. However I had a co-worker that had a Rottie that was pure evil. He had a very loving home but was out of control. He got kicked out of obedience school - nothing worked for this dog. He attacked the husband on several occasions. It's not like he had a traumatic experience early in his puppyhood, nor was he abused or neglected - he was in this home from the time he was 6 or 8 weeks old. But on the other end of the scale, when my grandson was younger, he went to a home daycare that had a resident Rottie. All the kids played with her, climbed all over her on the floor and could do just anything with her. She was a gentle giant!
Any dog can be dangerous no matter what the breed or how big or small. It's just that some get singled out as the vicious ones no matter what.
I don't think Roxy will ever give anyone a problem. Enjoy her thru many years and adventures.
And 11+++++ biscuits for you Foxy Roxy! You're a beauty!
Hi there. Jane here from England. I just registered so I could place a comment on about Roxie. How gorgeous is she? I just love the colouring and the eyes, very unusual...and cute. It seems that so-called "dangerous"dogs are being destroyed on a daily basis here in the UK because they bite their owners (who usually have small children that the dog becomes jealous of). I'm not making excuses for the dogs but, really, some owners have no idea how to treat them...and it's the dog that gets labelled aggressive, not the owners. Seeing how sweet Roxie is made me realise how the owner of this particular dog treats her properly. Good for you! Lots of kisses and belly rubs for Roxie, I love her!
A beautiful angel girl!! Her colors and eyes make me melt. Our 4 legged children become who we teach them to be in their early years. Your Roxie will always be a wonderful friend and a joy to be with.
I love American Pit Bull's heads--just beautiful. And, yes, I believe there are no bad dogs--only bad owners. I think this wonderful breed, along with the Rottweiler, have gotten bad raps. What a wonderful puppy this is!
Roxy Roxy Roxy!!! You have made my day! You are the most beauitful. I have owned multiple pitties in my life, even as a child, and my family has always loved this breed. My daughter who is only 12 is already planning on when she can have her very own. I have never met a breed more loveable and affectionate than a pit.
I thoroughly agree with Doggieaunt on how they seem grateful for not being prejudged. They waggle from head to tail when someone comes to pet them and their big eyes and smiles just scream "love me, hug me, pet me and I will love you back forever!!!"
Roxy - you are a gorgeous little lady and many many happy years to you and your family!
What a sweetheart Roxy is!! I would not hesitate to have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier(that is the correct name for these beautiful dogs) I don't know how they got the name "PIT" When you raise a dog with love, they are not going to be mean! Roxy sure does love to pose for the camera!! Many biscuits and belly rubs to Roxy!!
Beautiful Dog. Love the way puppies sit like this on their little butts before they learn to sit up on their haunches. I have to tell you, I carry mail for the post office and I have only had a problem with one pit bull, and the fracas was actually started by a cocker spaniel! There are many other dogs, usually the smaller ones that I have to watch out for. I can tell you love this pretty baby and if you teach her to be a good canine citizen, you should be fine. Unfortunately, it will be hard to change the perception of a lot of people on these dogs with all the media exposing the dog fighting things. Okay, enough of my soapbox, I hope you have many happy, healthy years together
Roxy is Stunning! I am a Pitbul owner myself (a silver brindle) and I know just how sweet and loving these dogs can be. It's a shame the bad name the breed has gotten when all these wonderful dogs want to do is please their owners. I know my pitlet is my best friend and her kisses at the end of the day make everything alright, many happy years with Roxy, and just make sure you show her all the love she deserves and she she will return the favor two-fold. 15 biscuits at least!!!!
I picked this picture because she looks like velvet here. We have friends with a pit bull named Izzy, and she's the softed most loving dog. They tell everyone she's an American Staffordshire Terrier which is basically true so they can avoid the stereo-type. Anyway, if Roxy is anywhere as lovely as Izzy you have yourself a wonderful dog. Give her a tummy rub and a couple of biscuits from Idaho!
What a sweet little girl, love her face , just want to give her a big hug. Give her lots and lots of love and she will gladly give it back , 11 biscuits
My personal belief is this : ALL DOGS ARE GOOD; ALL PEOPLE ARE QUESTIONABLE! I have been a dog owner for nearly 8 years, and I know personally a couple of dozens Pit Bulls. Most of them are the sweatest dogs you want to meet. Roxy, you are a show stopper! Eleven biscuites, tons of pig ears, and many years of happy togetherness with your family! God bless!
Roxy is such a pretty little lady! I feel very bad for her breed - people are so cruel to them. She's so lucky to have a great home with you. I wish you all the happiness in the world with her! ;-)

Roxy has a sweet face & I love the gray.
20 years ago 1 Pitbull down the street attacted an old man & they tried to make them illegal in our town. You can't blame a breed for 1 poor dog with bad owners, all their dogs were mean. Pits are smart, loving & very trainable. We now have 3 next door & 2 more a few houses away. They are all wonderfull dogs.
I wish your family lots of love & biscuits.
ROXY!!! I LOVE YOU!!! You look like my pitbull mix, Sadie. Tell your Mommy and Daddy not to listen to any people who say bad things about pitbulls. They are not bad doggies, it's the bad people who make some of them misbehave.
It's only because pitties are so eager to please that they'll do what their master says, but if their master is mean, they'll end up doing what their master wants. You are so lucky you don't have mean masters like that. The mean people are ignorant. You just show the world how sweet pitties can be.
I have never voted before but visit the Daily Puppy every day. I just HAD to create an account today and give you 11 biscuits because you are the sweetest!!!!!
Rock on, Roxy!!!!!
oh, one more thing to ziggysmom and anyone else who wants to fight breed-specific legislation (aka discrimination!!!!!)--just go to google and type in BSL or breed specific legislation. There are TONS of articles and organizations you can get involved w/ and I'm sure there are some petitions out there you can sign to show how ridiculous BSL is. I know I'd move out of the country if they ever told me I had to get rid of my pittie mix baby. BSL is STUPID!!
What a beautiful baby!! We have one pit mix and one bulldog mix. The bully breeds are wonderful, loving dogs and both of ours are great with kids. Sadies's mom is right about them being eager to please, they just want to be loved. Enjoy Roxy and give her lots of kisses and belly rubs from me.
BTW Petluver: The American Staffordshire Terrier, the Stafforshire Bull Terrier and the American Pit Bull Terrier and three different but related breeds.
Roxie is so beautiful! She looks so attentive and smart-I just love Bully Dogs! Every full or partial pit I've ever had or been around was a wonderful, loyal dog, and I think the majority are the same way. Alot has to do with how you raise her. Pit bulls have too much energy, so wear her out often, train her well, and love her much!
