Patchouli the Beagle
Patchouli's parents say: Patchouli is a really cool two and a half moths beagle. As we say here, he's a nose on four legs. His eyes catch the attention instantly. Inside, they are brown green and one outside, they're as blue as the sky. He is extremely affectionate and joyful but also cuddly and he loves to sleep on everybody's knee.
Beautiful, affectionate, cuddly and loyal....what more could one human heart stand?? 11 biscuits to this wonderful pooch!
Haveing had a beagle or 20 around the house for most of my life I have never seen one with such evil eyes, simply stunning. Enjoy your new friend and remember inside every affectionate, cuddly, and loyal beagle, sleeps a monster that will take your socks off your feet while you sleep.
We say Maggie is a nose on four legs...as well as a stomach. She eats just about anything! Patchouli is adorable...love those eyes!

Adorable!!! And what a great name . . . a scent for your little nose on four legs! His eyes are really something; frankly, I'm so used to those big, sad brown beagle eyes that they take me aback. (I do agree with the earlier poster who commented that they give Patchouli a kind of pugnacious air -- instead of the beagly "look how sad and cute I am, so you have to let me get away with anything and everything"!)

Finally, love the "foostsch" photos with snow on the nose! Our beagle used to love to do that.

You are right, the eyes are real attention getters, but not just because they are such a beautiful and unusual color. They are incredibly intelligent eyes, too. Patch is very unique looking - that eye color is so different than the brown you see on beagles - puts him in a class of his own.

I love "puppy-in-the snow" photos ~ Patchouli looks like he is ready for a good romp, after all this foolish camera nonsense is over with !!! My Cocker would just tip-toe in the snow, when we lived in Wisconsin - very comical - too prissy to play in it - but Patchouli looks like he doesn't have any inhibitions at all. Patchouli's eye's look human- showing the many different thoughts that go on behind them. He is a "humanimal"- more than the ordinary pup! I am sure he is special and loved, and he knows it.

Patch___ is a beautiful boy. Beagles are never evil. They can endure great human cruelty. They are true blue, energetic, and family loving dogs.
I grew up with a beagle and she would cry real tears as she bayed her love when one of our family would come home after a long absence. She even tried to adopt wild baby rabbits, and took care of kittens if the momma cat allowed it. She watched over me on our walks on the land, and took care of my grandmother who was epileptic during the day while everyone was gone to work and school. Many times my grandmother said our beagle, Soosie, licked her face to calm her and lay at her side when she was ill.

[color=green][i]Not only do I think this little cutie, Patchouli, (I honestly dont know how to prenounce that..heh) I think he looks kind and def. not mean. Mean is the farthest word from my mind. The closest word would be 'simply gorgeous'. I love his eyes. I didn't know Beagles could have such pretty, gentle colored eyes. I thought it was mainly brown droopy eyes (or was i thinking of basset hounds?). Either way, you are so lucky to have this cutie in your life. I know, anyone would be, and you were extremely lucky to be the one. Nor is he evil, I think he looks kind-hearted. Beagles, from my knowledge are very energetic but when it comes to bed time, they will be asleep in a blink of an eye. Curious little things, that ADORE playing around. He looks like he quite enjoys the snow. Hah. Spend much time with him, he looks like the type you simply can't stay away from-- in other words, if I were you, I'd abandon my life and do everything with and for him.
If he woke me up at 4 or something, I really wouldnt mind, unless I was exhausted of course. I'm sure everyone loves him, along with me! :-)

Patchouli's eyes look right through you. All the lights are on and he is not going to miss a thing. He's a real winner.
I just had to register so that I could comment on this puppy. I love him. Please disregard insensitive oafs who could possibly call Patchouli evil or mean. He's absolutely adorable and I'm sure he's a true joy to be around. I grew up with Beagles and I love the breed. We had a beagle named Queenie who also had extemely light colored eyes. Not as light as Patchouli's but still pretty stunning. Seeing Patchouli brings back many fond memories of one of the best dogs I've ever known. Beagles are blessings. Ornery, rotten , always up to something, blessings :) I wish you many, many wonderfully adventurous years with Patchouli. Please give him a hug and tons of kisses.

How sweet! Such unusual eyes. Beagles are wonderful. We have a 4 year old female, and she runs the house. They never run out of energy, or love. Enjoy Patchouli, he will keep you entertained.
