Jack the Mini Daschund
Jack says: My name is Jack Moore. I was introduced to my family at 14 weeks old. I was shy the first few days of meeting them but since then I have become their best friend! My family thinks I am so cute. When they take me to the park, people can't stop playing with me! And that's ok, because I can't get enough attention! Everyone says I am unique because I am white and black with some brown freckles. They say no one else is colored like ME!! My toy collection is growing all the time because I'm teething. Luckily I haven't chewed on anything important, and my family is grateful for this. I love to run around outside in my yard. To me it's like a football field even though my family says it's pretty small. Right now it's still cold in Richmond but spring is coming soon, so I like wearing all of my t-shirts and taking naps in front of the fireplace. I can't wait for summer and warm weather! I may only weigh three and half pounds, but boy am I a little feisty terror!
[color=red]OMIGOSH! OMIGOSH! I don't think my heart can take all this CUTENESS!! What a little bundle of fuzzy LOVE! How I wish I could nuzzle that baby for just a few seconds (and most possibly not give him back)! Many happy years together, and isn't Jack the lucky baby to already have a wardrobe! [/color]

No kidding, what a unique little doggie! My first inclination was that he was a mixed breed because I have never seen that coloring either. That does not prevent me from being smitten by him! ;-)

He is so adorable with unique markings. Does the breeder you got him from usually have dogs with his markings? Does the breeder have a web site? Our mini daschund is black & tan, with silver dapple & our first. He is the most loyal, curious, loving dog and the best. Many happy years with your adorable baby.
He is absolutely wonderful. I may be a spaniel girl but this has done it I have always wanted a daxie and it will have to happen one day until then Jack is my new pin up boy!!!!

Jack is one handsomely adorable little pukky!! He has such gorgeous markings! I have a real soft spot for long haired mini dachs. The absolute sweetest dog I ever had the pleasure of keeping company with was my little Crystal, a red longhaired mini dach. Many belly rubs to Jack!! Enjoy your years together!

Jack is sooooooooooo cute...lots of hugs and kisses for him. His coloring is different for a doxie, but beautiful. He's going to grow up and be the tough guy guarding the home. I've only seen a couple other doxies with coloring like this and they were what's called "double dapples." I think you get it from breeding two dapples. However it happens, they are beautiful and so is Jack! (Or should I say handsome...) Thanks for sharing!

Jack is what they call a "Piebald" dachshund. They have various patterns - like a beagle. Piebalds are known for their wonderful friendly temperament. Never territorial or anti-social.
Planned breeding is making beautiful pups these days. We were very lucky to get an all white dachsie this year. She is wonderful.

Oh my gosh, Jack, you are the prettiest doxie I have ever seen. We have a black and tan mini and she is our adorable Dorie and we think she's pretty darn cute!! Yep, you have the same traits as ours when she was young. She still loves to chew and play tuggy and fetch. She's going to be 4 in July already,yikes!! Dear little Jack, you are SOOO cute. I love this picture because it looks like you are trying to get a look outside but can't quite figure out how to reach the window sill. Our neighbour has a female mini-daschund and she wears winter coats too! My 2 Shelties love to play with her at the park and even though they are great runners, you should see Chili chase them. Jack you are Precious!

Wow Jack you sure are a cutie pie. I never liked small dogs before but I have seen so many on this site and since I foster I have had rat terrier/dachund and now a beagle. Love this picture. Oh, what an adorable puppy!! I have a 6 yr. old 115 pound GSP who is lying beside my chair right now. When I give him his shower, I sometimes wish he were as small as Jack but he, too is wonderful.
