Gracie's mom says: Gracie became part of our family in August of 2007. She was just 8 week sold when we brought her home to Elgin, Illinois. We had just lost our very special Golden, Abbey, after 11 years. We had forgotten what puppies were like so Gracie brought many new challenges. She is very independent, full of energy and just loves to play. She get along with everyone. She loves to cuddle, catch ice cubes, and most of all she will anything for a treat. We hope to introduce her to water this summer when we go to our cabin on Lake Ontario, NY. This was Abbey's favorite place and I can't wait to see Gracie's reaction to the water. She has become a very special part of our family.

Alright... I make sure to comment every lil golden I see =]
Goldens are the absolute most adorable puppy there possibly is! They make amazing companions and I have no doubt little Gracie will be that for you! Give her many many hugs and ear scratches for me! And many happy years with this little angel!
Gracie I just love ya!!! Super sweet puppy girl. My Ella just loves tennis balls and the snow, too bad we move to the desert. I just loved your pictures but I especially loved the smelling the flowers pix.
GREAT photos! Gracie is absolutely adorable and it's fun to see her growing. Love the eyelashes. Enjoy her for many years. 11++ biscuits.
You're absolutely beautiful Gracie. We have just had to have our old border collie Ben to sleep yesterday and we are devastated. Look after Gracie and love her and I hope you enjoy many wonderful years together. A zillion biscuits and a big hug and cuddle baby. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
So sorry about Ben.
Gracie you are the cutest golden I have seen.
You look like you have such a good life, in your garden, by the water, in the snow. Your family must love you very much.
You can tell by my sign-in name where I stand : there is nothing to compare with a Golden-- For fun, mischief, loyalty.
Btw (and for the record): oooooooooooo so cute a million biscuits and a belly rub
OMG!! What an absolute babe! Gracie is truly gorgeous, such a pretty girl. I'm sure that lovely Abbey is looking down and smiling, pleased that you have joy in your lives again.

"Awwww, geez, why did they put this water dish so high up?" :)
It was hard to pick a favorite picture, they were ALL cute!!! Enjoy your new baby, they truly are gifts from above!!!
She is gorgeous. All the best w/her. I haven't had a puppy in the house in 12 years, so it would be a big change for me also.
Always take time to smell the flowers! It is so nice that dogs can still teach us to pay attention to what is around us!
What a sweetheart! I LOVE LABS AND RETRIEVERS! I hope you have many happy and healthy years together with Gracie! Lots of love, belly rubs, and biscuits to you Gracie! I hope she enjoys the water as much as she does snow. This picture reminds me of my little girl trying to drink from the fountain.
Looks like Gracie is already interested in water, so she should have a great time at the lake! What a total cutie-pie!
(uncontrollable giggles)
Bless her little heart - I know she has blessed yours.
Way to take time to smell the flowers Miss Gracie.
Big sloppy puppy kisses!
Sweet Gracie...what a honey. Darling pictures, and I am so happy for you and your family. Nothing will ever take the place of Abbey, but a new life is a joy to behold. God Bless you all with love, health, and happiness.
She brings tears to my eyes, what a lucky little girl to have her family! Bundles and bundles of biscuits for Gracie and many wonderful years for you and your Golden!
Looks like your lovely new girl is doing just fine with the water! Have fun, she looks really sweet.
Gracie is the cutest thing! I tried to choose a different favorite pic, but couldn't resist the one of her sniffing the flower. Zillions of biscuits to her!
In my book there nothing sweeter looking that a golden retriever and a lab. They are just the best dogs. So gentle and kind and loves everyone! And Gracie my dear, you are a perect example of how great they are. I cannot even begin to soak in the cuteness of you because there is way too much to soak in. Your so fluffy and adorable and I love every one of this pictures. God Bless you and your family.
What a beautiful little girl. I know that Abbey would be very proud to call Gracie her baby sister. :) I love this picture.... :)

I LOVE Gracie, she's my dream dog. I had 2 goldens growing up, they are the BEST, most loyal, loving creatures! It was hard picking a favorite picture. I love them all, it shows a great personality. Typical water lover, curious and trouble. Both goldens I had were TROUBLE as puppies, but its so worth hanging in there! :)
She is so adorable! She looks very sweet and sensitive in her pictures, too. Gracie is a beautiful girl!
There is nothing sweeter than the innocense of a puppy!!! Very cute!!! :) I think she will love the cabin!!!

Gracie, I love your name, as Grace is very important in all our lives. Your photos are spectacular. Gracie looks right at home in the water surroundings. You are such a pretty color and beautiful puppy. Mischief is always right around any corner when there is a puppy (Golden) or any other, for that matter.

What great photos of Gracie! I love the one of her posing atop the rocks by the sea, but this one just melted my heart. What a gentle and innocent nature puppies have. I hope she brings you many wonderful years and great memories, just as Abby had.
We should all take a tip from Gracie and take time to stop and smell the flowers! No wonder she looks so happy!
Gracie is stunningly beautiful and I think her gentle nature comes through in all the pictures. I love her eyelashes in this photo, it was so hard to choose just one! Also love the flower one, the one where she's standing on her back legs sniffing the bowl and the ones with snow sprinkled on her adorable little face! 11++++ biscuits xxx

Gracie is sooooo cute. She has beautiful coloring and your pictures really show her off to good advantage. I love the pic of her galumphing towards the camera...so eager and loving! and the one of her sniffing the flower is priceless! I wish you many years of happiness together!
OMG , tears to my eyes today --- Golden puppies are the cutest things ;-) 2nd choice is the pretty girl smelling the flowers , but- Gracie runnning to her human is just too sweet and she has the "'Golden' smile'"--those of us who have been blessed to have a Golden in our lives knows exactly what I mean..take good care of this precious girl-wishing you a bazillion kisses and opportunities for belly rubs...God blesses us with furry angels and you have one.

Oh my gosh!! Gracie is soooo beautiful. Looks like she is a lot of fun. Enjoy every minute. The pictures of her are wonderful :-) It was extremely hard to pick a favorite today - sniffing the flowers, rock climbing, running toward you, wearing the bandana - but, I had to go with reaching for the water in the bird bath. I hope she brings you as many happy years as your Abby did.
Beautiful Gracie! A million biscuits to you and your family! My Golden girls are 4 and 11 and I've never had one bad day with them.

Don't worry- Abbey is now Gracie's [and yours!] guardian angel and she won't let anything bad happen to her!
We all could learn a thing or two watching Gracie, you know stop and smell the flowers and a good cooooool drink of water and lots of sunshine, she is a very pretty little girl. You had many wonderful years with Abbey and I hope you have many wonderful ones with Gracie. God bless you and Gracie, and may Abbey watch over you all. 11 biscuits little one.

What a little sweetheart! I think that the world could learn a lot is we just stopped to smell the daisies!!
Positively, absolutely, stop-me-in-my-steps, beyond-a-doubt, precious and adorable!!!! Golden's have a way of winning hearts by just being! To think she had time in her busy puppy day to stop and smell the flowers!!! haha! I can tell Gracie will have a very happy life - but most important - love her for herself, no comparison to Abbey. She will surprise you with her very own personality and joy for life. Enjoy!!!
Oh Gracie girl, you make my heart sing. Isn't life grand?!?! You are so wonderful, welcome to the world!
How darling <3 I don't think I've ever seen a pup stop to smell the flowers, most of mine would just eat them xP (even the grown ones!)
What a sweet pup! I hope you enjoy her. I know you will. It's hard after one passes away, but it's so neat to see their different personalities.
She looks like she may introduce herself to water soon if you all don't. Have fun with her!
Your other Golden would never want you to be alone. She would want you to love again. Isn't that what it's all about. So much love to give. I know it is a rude awakening how busy a puppy can be. Have fun - they are a pup for a short time.
The puppy pic remind us our 2 old golden. We got a 1yr old schnauzer at the moment. I still thinks that the golden are the best.
What a wonderful pup. She is growing up beautifully and looks like such fun! Gracie is a perfect name for her.
squeal! squeal! squeal! gracie is the most graceful little pup i've seen : ) i LOVE goldens soooo much! love this pic 'cause gracie looks sooo cute sniffing the flowers and i love her long lashes! millions and trillions of buiscuts and tummy tickles!!!
You'd be almost scared to hug her - how would you ever let go?? :) Gracie's beautiful! We all wish you many happy years together. Two truck-loads of cookies.
